The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) would like to advise that in the coming weeks, one or two nights of routine drainage maintenance works will be undertaken in various locations across the electorate of Moggill.
For the safety of the work crew, and to minimise disruption to your constituents, works will be undertaken at night between 7pm and 5am, Sunday to Friday, however some Saturday or out of hours work may be required.
It is expected that works will take approximately two nights to complete at each location, construction and weather conditions permitting.
Works will involve:
- drain clearing and maintenance
- removal and safe disposal of debris.
What to expect:
Minimal disruption to nearby residents and businesses is expected. For a short time, the use of heavy machinery may be necessary which could cause temporary increased noise, odour and dust levels. Reversing beepers and flashing lights are a safety requirement and will be used at all times during working hours.
