This year has again been a year in which Queensland’s Year 12 students have had to face a number of unique challenges and disruptions, all of which they have overcome with distinction.
Today not only marks the end of a significant chapter for this incredible cohort, but excitingly, it also marks the start of a world of new opportunities, including in higher education, training and employment.
As the LNP’s Shadow Minister for Education, I thank the dedicated families, teachers and staff, who have been a constant source of support to these graduating students throughout their schooling.
I wish all students a very happy, and safe, summer break, and a reminder that if you are yet to do so, now is a great time to get vaccinated.
